4 Days and 4 nights vehicle based camping
Starting our journey in the picturesque town of Licola, a gateway to the Victorian High Country we climb up the mountains to Kelly’s Hut, a historic shelter with roots deep in the area's past then ascend Mount Wellington for breathtaking panoramic views. Continue to Moroka Hut, another classic High Country shelter before ending our day at Horse Yard Hut, where we will set up camp for the night.
Saturday starts with a walk to The Pinnacles Fire Tower Lookout with stunning views of the landscape before we tackle Billy Goats Bluff Track dropping us back down into the valley. We then tackle the Crooked River Track, a path that meanders along crossing the river may times before climbing up to visit the historic township of Grant. Finishing the day with a campsite by the Crooked River.
Sunday begins with a climb up the Blue Rag Range. This track is renowned for its challenging ascent and spectacular views. The sense of accomplishment at the top with amazing views makes the climb well worth the effort. Sunday night's camp is something special with high altitude camping with a view that will never be forgotten.
Monday morning we drop back down into the valley to the township of Dargo ending the trip at the iconic Dargo Pub.

What you need to bring:Vehicles will require a UHF radio for communication, Allterain or Mud Terrain tyres, snorkel, a fire extinguisher, recover points and a compressor with tyre gauge to inflate/deflate tyres. A suspension lift kit is highly recommended.All camping equipment including accommodation, bedding, fridge, cooking equipment, cooking stove, camp chair, etcFood and drinks for the duration of the trip.And a sense of adventure!

Trip is not suitable for trailers.
No pets allowed as we will be travelling in National Parks.
The trip details may change due to weather or track conditions.
Rain may cause access problems to some areas.
Fire bans can stop the use of camp fires etc.
