4 Days and 4 nights vehicle based camping
Starting Thursday night in Rawson, embark on a grand adventure that concludes the following Monday. Each night, you'll set up camp at a new, unique location and dive into the vibrant history of the gold rush era, discover charming High Country Huts, take in breathtaking views, enjoy leisurely walks, and experience thrilling 4WD tracks.
Our journey begins at the lower edges of the Victorian High Country, winding through the historic Gold mining territory of Walhalla. From there, we'll ascend through Aberfeldy, making our way to Licola before climbing up to the Moroka High Plains, where panoramic vistas of the Victorian High Country await.
Prepare for an unforgettable journey, blending the raw beauty of nature with the storied past of Australia's gold rush!

Includes all permits and camping fees
Maximum 6 vehicles
What you need to bring:Vehicles will require a UHF radio for communication, Allterain or Mud Terrain tyres, a fire extinguisher and a compressor with tyre gauge to inflate/deflate tyres. A suspension lift kit is recommended.All camping equipment including accommodation, bedding, fridge, cooking equipment, cooking stove, camp chair, etcFood and drinks for the duration of the trip.And a sense of adventure!
Note:
Trip is not suitable for trailers.
No pets allowed as we will be travelling in National Parks.
The trip details may change due to weather or track conditions.
Rain may cause access problems to some areas.
Fire bans can stop the use of camp fires etc.
