Weekend Experience - Mansfield Loop Craigs Hut, Bindaree Falls, Bluff Hut & Lovics Hut Vic High County Bucket List locations
2 Days and 1 night vehicle based camping
Starting in Mansfield on Saturday morning, travel to the renowned Craigs Hut, recognized from the Man From Snowy River film. Continuing on we travel to Bindaree Falls, where we have the unique opportunity to walk behind the waterfall. The day concludes with a campfire and an overnight camp in the valley along the flats of the Howqua River.
Sunday begins with a climb back up to the mountain tops to visit Bluff Hut. Following this, tackle the adventurous yet stunning Bluff Track to Lovick's Hut before returning to Sheep Yard Flat and concluding the journey via Mansfield.
This itinerary offers a comprehensive weekend experience, showcasing some of the most iconic locations found in the eastern region of Victoria’s High Country.

This trip is a great introduction to the high country. It starts with gravel roads and gradually increases in difficulty, offering various 4WD challenges. You'll tackle creek crossings, steep climbs, and rocky tracks while enjoying sensational views and locations in the Victorian High Country.
What you need to bring:Vehicles will require a UHF radio for communication, a fire extinguisher and a compressor with tyre gauge to inflate/deflate tyres.All camping equipment including accommodation, bedding, fridge, cooking equipment, cooking stove, camp chair, etcFood and drinks for the duration of the trip.And a sense of adventure!
Note:
Trip is not suitable for trailers.
No pets allowed as we will be travelling in National Parks.
The trip details may change due to weather or track conditions.
Rain may cause access problems to some areas.
Fire bans can stop the use of camp fires etc.
