Back in the early 1970s, when my family purchased their first 4WD vehicle, a new world of adventure opened up for us. A few years later, my father embraced his passion as a professional landscape photographer and gave me the unique opportunity to travel across the Australian wilderness as a child.
This upbringing ignited my love for 4WD vehicles and the call of the open road. Naturally, my first car was a 4WD, and ever since. Fuelled by an insatiable curiosity and need to explore, I carved out a career in the 4WD industry, mastering the art of maintaining, building, and accessorising these vehicles for every purpose imaginable. My adventures expanded into off-road competitions, from gruelling long courses to intense winch challenges and intricate navigation events, sharpening my expertise in vehicle preservation and safe driving practices.
After over three decades of leading 4WD trips, corporate outings, and media events, I decided it was time to share my passion on a grander scale. Thus, The 4x4 Experience was born, allowing me to share my passion with fellow enthusiasts.
