- How does a Tag Along Tour Work?
- Bring your 4wd, camping gear, food and follow your guide in a convoy with other likeminded travelers to some of the best locations in the area.
- Your guide will communicate with you and the group via UHF radio when driving giving you advice for driving obstacles, navigation, history, information, etc.
- Enjoy a group campfire at night sharing stories and adventures.
- What do we need to bring? Everything you will need for the duration of the tour.
- This means your 4wd vehicle, camping equipment, food, drinks, chairs, etc Do I need previous 4wd experience? Each tour is different, some are great for beginners while some will require some previous 4wd experience.

- What modifications will my 4wd need?
- For all tours we require your vehicle to have a UHF Radio, fire extinguisher and Compressor for tyre pressure inflation.
- Some tours may require some extra equipment such as a Snorkel, lift kit and All Terrain Tyres. These details can be found on the tour information page.
- What tour would best suite my travel style? If you are unsure if a tour is suitable for your setup, please send a message or give Smithie a call (0477560633) as we are happy to discuss your setup/preferred travelling style to ensure the tour you select will be the adventure you desire.
- What extra cost are involved?
- The tour cost covers all permits, camping fees and your guide.
- Your only out of pocket expenses during the tour are your own personal supplies, fuel, etc
- How much for passengers and kids?
- All tours are priced based on one vehicle with two occupants.
- Additional charges will only apply if extra fees are incurred, such as those for caravan parks.

- Is there a limit to the number of cars on a tour?
- Tours are limited to 6 vehicles to keep the group small to make the tour more personal.
- What if something goes wrong?
- Your tour guide (Smithie) has Starlink & carries a PLB for contacting outside assistance if required.
- He has over 30 years of mechanical knowledge, is equipped with high quality recovery equipment and the knowledge of how to use it safely and efficiently.
- He is also First Aid trained and an ex-CFA fire fighter.
